BISE Rawalpindi Implements High-Tech Surveillance and Strict Monitoring for Transparent Exams in 2025

BISE Rawalpindi Ensures Fair Exams with Surveillance

RAWALPINDI: In a significant move towards educational reform, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has taken major steps to ensure complete transparency and fairness in its examination system. According to BISE Chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan, the board is now actively incorporating advanced educational technologies to upgrade its processes and enhance integrity across all levels of examinations.

CCTV Surveillance Installed at All Exam Centres

To prevent unfair means and malpractice, all Matric and Intermediate examination centres—especially high-risk (hard) and grading centres—are now fully equipped with real-time online camera surveillance. This initiative allows central monitoring by board officials and district authorities to ensure exams are conducted smoothly and fairly.

The chairman emphasized that this digital monitoring system has significantly reduced incidents of cheating and impersonation, leading to a cleaner, more trustworthy exam environment.

Strict Enforcement of Zero-Tolerance Policy

Chairman Adnan Khan affirmed that the zero-tolerance policy introduced by the Punjab Chief Minister is being enforced without compromise. Any attempts at cheating, paper leaks, or external influence are dealt with strictly under new examination rules and regulations.

To further uphold exam integrity, the board has launched the District Vigilance Committees (DVCs). These committees are tasked with overseeing examination operations in their respective districts, quickly addressing any complaints or irregularities reported by staff or students.

Mobile Inspectors & Surprise Visits Ensure On-Ground Supervision

Alongside technological solutions, physical monitoring has also been strengthened. Special squads—including the Chairman’s Inspection Squad and Mobile Examiner Teams—are conducting surprise visits to different centres. These teams check seating arrangements, verify student identity, inspect paper distribution, and ensure all SOPs are being followed.

Focus on Student Comfort and Exam Environment

BISE Rawalpindi has also ensured that students receive comfortable seating, proper ventilation, clean washrooms, and access to drinking water in all centres. The board believes that providing a peaceful environment is crucial for fair assessments and student success.

Timely Announcement of Results

Chairman Adnan Khan assured the public that the Matric and Inter results for 2025 will be announced on schedule, thanks to the digitized and streamlined checking process already in place. The board is also working on upgrading its online result portal to offer faster access to results and improved user experience for students, parents, and institutions.

Future Plans: AI & Digital Marking Systems

Looking ahead, BISE Rawalpindi plans to introduce AI-assisted marking systems and digital scanning for answer sheets, which will further reduce human error and enhance objectivity in grading. Pilot projects for these technologies are already in motion and expected to be fully implemented by the end of 2025.
