The clarification came after a forged notification circulated online, falsely stating that all schools in Karachi would be closed.
On Monday evening, several areas of Karachi experienced moderate to heavy rainfall. Forecasts had earlier cautioned about possible intense showers and thunderstorms that might trigger urban flooding across the city.
